Detailed Description:
The body performs best at a temperature of 98.6° F. However, when a firefighter is working in extreme climates, maintaining that temperature is a difficult task and may lead to a failed performance. The increased safety of the flame inhibiting Fire Shield, in combination with patented air-conditioning technologies developed by X-BIONIC®, is an innovative move into new dimensions in the field of firefighting work wear.

Form
Despite its low weight the high-tech synthetic fibre, BA FIBRE (BIONIC ARAMID), is extremely strong and heatproof. BA FIBRE will withstand temperatures above 400 C without melting. Due to its extreme mechanical strength, the fibre is primarily used in the manufacture of bulletproof body armour and fibreproof fabrics.

These are areas where controlled body cooling is of the utmost importance. This high-tech functional underwear qualifies for the most extreme demands in all fields of motor sports and work, especially under conditions with fire risks, such as firefighting, where the regulation of the body climate plays a crucial role. Using a patented 3-D Bionic Sphere system, X Bionic underwear and outerwear is designed and engineered to target zones (like the armpits, chest, and back) and will keep the firefighter warm in cool weather and cool in hot weather. The underwear also absorbs vibration to preserve muscle energy and compresses the body to enhance oxygenated blood get to essential muscle groups.
